Whatever the subject of your web site, search engines will provide you with a great deal of traffic, if your site is optimised for search engines.

People search sites such as Google, Yahoo and MSN for certain words or phrases, and these sites bring up a list of web sites that contain those words, or are about that word or phrase. Often hundreds of pages!
Unfortunately the people doing the searching will only look so far down the list, usually not more than 3 or 4 pages. Your goal is to get your web site as high up on the list as you can. If 95% of searchers never go down further than page 3 or 4, then having your site listed on page 19 will not bring many visitors. If it brings any visitors at all!
These is no magic formula for getting your page higher. It is more of you doing a lot of little things that all add up to a higher ranking.
Please do not be fooled into parting with money to sites that promise to submit your site to 30,000 search engines. They can't, and won't do it. Even if they could it would NOT help you, as 98% of web searchers use the top three search engines anyway. Paying for inclusion in the other 29,997 search engines would only get you access to another 2% of searchers.
It is widely believes that inclusion in the top three search engines is all you need. And we have proof that getting listed on Google is you actually need to do, the other two search engines will pick your site up from that.
Here we aim to bring you the best ways of getting your page ranking higher. But be aware, once you get into SEO it is a constant war. You have to continually learn, research and refine your tactics. You may be on page one today, but tomorrow several other sites could leap frog you and push you onto page two.
